The BGHS Band, Choir, and Orchestra performed for their largest audiences of the year with students in grades 4-8 attending concerts today.

BGISD students may begin playing instruments and singing in choir as 4th graders. Attending the annual school-day concert gives the younger Purples a chance to see and hear opportunities in their near future!

More than 250 BGHS students participate in the Performing Arts.

Thanks to teachers and staff in all schools, and a special thanks to the Transportation Department for making this day possible!

Students and teachers from Gutenberg-Gymnasium in Erfurt, Germany have been visiting Bowling Green since October 25th as part of the German American Partnership Program (GAPP). The group has spent time shadowing host students at Bowling Green High School, weekends with local families, seeing local attractions and learning about local government. Today, they are both sharing about their home and school as well as experiencing a day at an American elementary school with T. C. Cherry.

🇩🇪 GAPP is a nonprofit for school-to-school exchanges with U.S. schools, helping participants learn about language and culture.

Led by Dr. Ferrel Rose at BGHS, this is the 25th year and 10th exchange between the two schools.
