Three new program opportunities at Bowling Green this year include Digital Media, HVAC, and Piano. Hear more about these courses from their instructors in a series of videos produced by Ethan Gallagher, McKenzi Loid Public Relations Intern 2025-26.
DIGITAL MEDIA
Mr. Jacob Latimer is teaching a new Digital Media course at BGHS that includes graphic design, content creation, photography, and broadcasting/podcasting. At the completion of the course, students will have a portfolio of projects to take beyond BGHS.
HVAC
The HVAC Certification courses are made possible through a partnership with SKYCTC. Mr. Lucas Ashley is currently teaching Refrigeration Fundamentals and HVAC Electricity at BGHS. Upon completion of the HVAC program, students will earn 20 hours of dual credit, as well as the opportunity for OSHA 10, and EPA 608 Universal Certifications.
PIANO
Taught by Josh Wagner and Lucas Allen, piano classes are designed to be entry-level and student led. Mr. Wagner says, “Music is for everyone and anyone that wants to play music, can!”
